Guest Speaker – Mike Bartish

Last week, parents/guardians received an email regarding an upcoming student presentation. On Thursday, defense attorney Mike Bartish will be speaking with students about the real-life legal consequences of decisions that many teenagers face. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the main office. If you prefer that your student not attend this presentation, please complete this opt-out form.

WC Summer Camps

Lenten Adoration

Parents/guardians, grandparents and alumni — Come and pray at the WC Adoration Chapel for one hour each week during Lent! Specific hours that we need the most adorers are Monday 10-11 a.m., Tuesday 12-1 p.m. and 1-2 p.m., Wednesday 9-10 a.m. and 1-2 p.m., and Friday 10-11 a.m. Please contact Patti Kohane at pattikohane@att.net or 616-889-5093 for more information or to sign up!

Life Force Retreat

Students interested in participating in the Life Force Retreat are encouraged to fill out this interest form. This is not an official signup. The retreat will take place April 17-19 at Pine Ridge Bible Camp and is open to all West Catholic students.

The Advancement Team is looking for donations for the Celebrate West Auction, including gift cards and silent auction raffle items (sports memorabilia, sporting event tickets, gift baskets, kitchen gadgets, outdoor yard items, games, etc.). Summer Health (Online)

Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors — WC Summer Health is available again this year! To sign up, click HERE. This course is capped at 40 students, and priority will be given to current students who need to meet their Health requirement. The deadline to register is May 22.

2nd-Quarter Honor Roll

Congratulations to all of our students who were named to our 2nd-Quarter Honor Roll! Students are included in the Honor Roll if they earn a grade of B- or higher in each course (based on quarter grades only).

Aquinas College Partnership

West Catholic is thrilled to announce a new direct admission partnership with Aquinas College. This guarantees admission for students who meet the GPA requirement, starting with the Class of 2026. For more on this exciting announcement, CLICK HERE.

Selective Service System

Young men must register with Selective Service within 30 days of their 18th birthday. If you do not register, you cannot qualify for job training benefits and many state and federal jobs. Don’t get left out! For more information and to register, visit sss.gov.

We need volunteers to help in various areas during our upcoming athletic events. This is a great way to support our student-athletes and be part of the game-day energy! Our greatest need is in concessions.
