SIGN UP FOR A SHADOW DAY

On a West Catholic Shadow Day, 8th-grade students are paired with a West Catholic student to experience a day in their life. By sitting in on a few classes, eating in the lunchroom and meeting WC students, your child will see what they will experience during their time at West.

  • Friday, October 28
  • Wednesday, November 9
  • Monday, November 14
  • Tuesday, December 6 (Mass Day)

The West Catholic 5th-Grade visit will be offered during two school days – one in the fall and one in the spring. Visiting 5th-grade students will eat lunch, meet teachers and staff, and take part in an interactive tour to experience a day in the life of a West Catholic student. This visit is meant to motivate and inspire students by seeing what awaits after their K-8 graduation.

*West Catholic High School will transport 5th-grade students from Diocesan Catholic middle schools, so parents will still drop their child off and pick their child up as they normally would from their school.

**Any 5th-grade student is invited to attend. If your student does not attend a Diocesan Catholic school and you would like to sign them up, please email [email protected]. Our admissions director will ensure that your student can participate.

Join us for our Experience West Night! You will have the opportunity to take a campus tour with one of our current students, hear from the experience of current parents, see what is happening at West Catholic, and learn about the next steps of the enrollment process. There will also be time to connect with various faculty and staff members to get all your questions answered.

Our Incoming Family Open House will take place in February at West Catholic High School.

Members of the West Catholic community will be available to speak with you in an informal setting. This is an optional event that provides 9th graders and their parents the opportunity to come to campus and get any questions you have answered. We will have staggered arrivals at 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Our Director of Academic Support will host a private Academic Support Open House prior to the open house.
