March 20-24 was Fine Arts Week at West Catholic! We are so blessed to have such talented students who are willing to share their God-given gifts with us. Lisa Nawrocki, Head of the Fine Arts Department, shared her thoughts about this wonderful week:

As I bask in the afterglow of another successful Fine Arts Week with outstanding performances by our Choir, Jazz Band, Concert Band and even our middle school band, I want to sincerely thank our directors Mr. Joe Houdek, Mr. Darren LaPrise, and Mr. Mike Michewicz for all of their hard work and for continually using their gifts to enrich the lives of our students. I would also like to thank our principal Mr. Tony Fischer for adjusting our schedules so that we could celebrate the fine arts this week. Thank you to Mr. Tom Kutzli for tech support and to Mr. Jeff Bailey for helping me with the video that featured 103 pieces of student artwork. Thank you to Jason from Kendall College of Art and Design Admissions for presenting to our art students. Thank you to our maintenance staff for setting up and taking down. And from the bottom of my heart, thank you to all the students, parents and staff who continually support our students of the fine arts, especially this week.
