Education Founded in Excellence

West Catholic is proud of its history of academic excellence. We offer 19 Advanced Placement courses that are taught on campus, and many students earn dual-enrollment credits through a partnership with Aquinas College also offered on site. More than 60% of our students leave high school with college credit. Last year alone, West Catholic students took over 350 AP exams. The class of 2022 had 95% of its graduates attend college.

An advantage our students receive to help prepare them for life after graduation is ample contact with our full-time school counselors. We are proud to have a counselor-to-student ratio of ~1:235. That is a ratio you will rarely find in a high school, considering the national average is 1:482.

In the last three years, West Catholic graduates have been accepted at many of the finest colleges and universities in the country:

Catholic colleges include:

Aquinas College, Ave Maria University, Boston College, Fordham University, Franciscan University of Steubenville, Georgetown University, Holy Cross College, Loyola University Chicago, Marquette University, Saint Mary’s College, University of Dayton, University of Detroit Mercy, University of Notre Dame, Villanova University, Xavier University

Other private colleges, public universities and military academies include:

Case Western Reserve, Grand Valley State University, Hillsdale College, Hope College, Indiana University-Bloomington, Miami University (Ohio), Michigan State University, Michigan Technological University, Purdue University, Stanford University, University of North Carolina, United States Military Academy (West Point), University of Alabama, University of Central Florida, University of Chicago, University of Kentucky, University of Louisville, University of Michigan, Yale University

And many others…
