SANP Prayer Vigil

Friday, February 5, 2021

Attention Seniors and Parents of Seniors!

Please send in two wallet-size senior class pictures in a Ziploc bag to the school office by March 1. These pictures are needed for the SANP Prayer Vigil Committee.

A unique part of graduation at West Catholic is the opportunity to participate as a faith community in an eight hour Prayer Vigil in honor of the Senior Class. The Prayer Vigil is offered in conjunction with the Senior All-Night Party. It offers parents, grandparents, siblings, friends and all those who are part of the West Catholic community a time to reflect and pray for our seniors. While students are enjoying their night together, we will be praying for them in front of the Blessed Sacrament in the Maria Goretti Chapel. Every hour throughout the night, a special prayer is said and senior names read while a picture of them is displayed. Each family will also receive a candle with their Senior’s picture on it at graduation.

Look for more information and a sign up for the SANP Prayer Vigil in April.

If you have any questions or concerns regarding the Prayer Vigil contact Tricia Worrell, 616-516-0763.
