Screenagers The Next Chapter - Movie and Expert Panel

Date:  October 07, 2019

Join us on Monday, Oct. 21, 2019, at 7 p.m. for a showing of "Screenagers The Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience," a movie about helping young people thrive in our screen- and stress-filled world. An expert panel will take your questions after the movie.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets: $7 (must buy in advance at bit.ly/DOGRMovie)

"Screenagers The Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience" is from the director of "Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age." Filmmaker and physician Delaney Ruston helps parents flip the script on stress, anxiety and depression. We follow Delaney as she suddenly finds herself at a loss on how to help her own teens as they struggle with their emotional wellbeing. She sets out to uncover how we understand these challenges in our current screen-filled society -- and how parents and schools can empower teens with skills to overcome mental health challenges, build emotional agility, improve communication, and promote stress resilience. The film is intended for adults and youth starting from age 10 and up.
