Girls Cross Country
At West Catholic, we focus on developing great athletes as well as great leaders. This weekend, we were flooded with messages sharing a story of one student-athlete who truly exemplifies what it means to be a Falcon.
During the last stretch of the girls cross country state finals, WC’s Maggie Duba noticed a fallen runner struggling to finish the race. Maggie helped her up, offering support and encouragement on the way to the finish line. Maggie sacrificed her place in the final standings to make sure this athlete, who worked so hard to make it to the state meet, had a chance to finish as well.
We are incredibly proud of the race Maggie ran but are even prouder of the compassion and sportsmanship she showcased along the way. Congratulations!
Congratulations to Abbie Smith who has qualified for the girls diving regionals on Thursday at Hamilton High School. Way to go, Abbie!

New! middle school strength training program
West Catholic High School is excited to provide a new and unique strength training opportunity to our community. We will be holding middle school strength training sessions in our high school weight room. Participating middle schoolers will be learning the same safe, inclusive and fundamental principles of performance training that our high schoolers are already part of. Our facilities and equipment allow us to safely and effectively teach our Falcon Strength program to kids of all strengths and skill levels. All of the training sessions will be taught and coached by our certified strength and conditioning coach, Adam Stoyanoff, MS CSCS. Coach Stoyanoff has coached thousands of athletes, from the elementary level up to the pros. He’s a proud West Catholic Falcon and extremely excited to share his 17+ years of coaching experience with our community. Please go to www.grwestcatholicprograms.org/athletics.cfm to register.
