  • Thursday, Dec. 16 - 4-7 p.m. (during freshman/JV basketball games)


On December 17, immediately following the 6 p.m. varsity hockey game, the hockey co-op program will be hosting a Santa Skate at Eagles Ice Center (2600 Village Dr SE, Grand Rapids)! Skating and skate rentals will be free with entry to the game. Put on your favorite Christmas outfit and keep an eye out for an early visit from Santa!

  • K-4 YOUTH BASKETBALL LEAGUE: Youth basketball is back! Any child K-4 is welcome to participate in a five-week clinic put on by the WC girls and boys basketball program. The first game date is scheduled for December 18. Registration includes five competition dates, a t-shirt, and admission and a pizza dinner at our Youth Basketball Night on February 18.
  • K-8 COMPETITIVE CHEER CHRISTMAS CLINIC: West Catholic is excited to provide a new opportunity to our future Falcons to explore the components of competitive cheer over Christmas break! Open to grades K-8, participants will spend time stunting, tumbling, jumping and cheering. Each girl will get a holiday gift and invitation to attend a competitive cheer invitational for attending camp! The clinic is set to take place on Dec. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at West Catholic.
  • MIDDLE SCHOOL ESPORTS LEAGUE: This winter West Catholic will be hosting our first-ever middle school esports team! Each Wednesday from January 26-March 9, students in 5th-8th grade will meet after school (3-5:30 p.m.) to practice and compete against other middle schools in the State of Michigan.
  • STRENGTH & PERFORMANCE TRAINING: Students in 7th and 8th grade now have the opportunity to train in our high school weight room! Participating middle schoolers will learn the same safe, inclusive and fundamental principles of performance training that our high schoolers are already a part of. All training sessions will be taught and coached by West Catholic's certified strength and conditioning coach. Coach Adam Stoyanoff, MS CSCS, has coached thousands of athletes from the elementary level up to the pros.
