The story of health or our general physical, mental and social well-being is about making wise choices throughout life. In order to make healthy decisions, students will learn about nutrition, disease prevention, mental health, first aid and substance abuse. Early due date for students seeking extra credit: July 13.

Summer health is held every summer. This course is capped at 40 and priority will be given to current West Catholic students needing to meet their Health requirement. Register at Deadline is May 24, 2022.

Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) Summer Program (link is external)
The School of Business Administration and the Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) Summer Program, July 11-July 15, 2022, offers young women an introduction to business and an opportunity to earn 3 hours of college credit through seminars with UD faculty and business professionals, local networking events and professional skills workshops.

Through immersive and interactive experiences on and around the University of Dayton campus, students will build their professional skills and learn to apply essential business practices to design their own business plans. FABS is open to rising high school juniors and seniors.

The Female Aspiring Business Scholars (FABS) Summer Program is not an overnight camp. While three daily meals are included with program registration, students who plan to attend must live within driving distance from UD and arrange their own daily transportation. For more details, program costs and registration information, visit our website. SEE-UD Engineering Events (link is external)
Summer Engineering Experiences at the University of Dayton (SEE-UD) are now open to all high school students! We are offering both on-campus and virtual opportunities. Students will have the opportunity to explore the diverse fields of engineering through collaborative and interactive, faculty-led sessions.

Camp Offerings:

  • Multi-Ethnic Men in Engineering Camp: June 19-22, 2022
  • Co-Ed Engineering Camp: June 22-25, 2022
  • Women in Engineering Camp: June 26-29, 2022
  • Virtual Engineering Camp: July 10-15, 2022 (now offered to all rising high school students entering grades 9-12)

A limited amount of special circumstance-based financial assistance is available for the residential camps and will be granted based on need. Applications are available on our website. (link is external)

Thomas Aquinas College is offering the High School Great Books Program at Thomas Aquinas College with California dates July 10-23 and New England dates July 24-August 6.  Click HERE (link is external) for more information.

The Experiences in Architecture (EiA) program at the Catholic University of America (CUA) is an intense, two-week, pre-college workshop for students interested in architecture or other design-related fields. Lawrence Tech wants to invite students to discover the opportunities available at our LTU Summer Camps. These camps allow students to get first-hand experience in  studios, labs, and classrooms learning directly from Lawrence Tech faculty. From exploring 3D modeling and printing to discovering the exciting world of esports, our week-long camps allow students to be immersed in the same culture that they will experience as a Lawrence Tech student.  Find out more:  LTU Summer Camps (link is external)

The School of Business at Stevens Institute of Technology (link is external) is offering a paid virtual summer research program for high school students. In this six-week program, students will have the opportunity to work alongside a faculty member from the School of Business and assist them with research in their area of study such as entrepreneurship, marketing, management, economics, and finance.  At the conclusion of the program students will complete both a written and oral presentation.  The written report will include a literature review, and the oral presentation will include a 5-minute video of a PowerPoint presentation detailing their research findings. The program will run from July 1, 2022 - August 12, 2022, and students will receive a $500 stipend after completing the program.

Eligibility - Applicants must currently be in their junior year of high school (no exceptions).
