The story of health or our general physical, mental and social well-being is about making wise choices throughout life. In order to make healthy decisions, students will learn about nutrition, disease prevention, mental health, first aid and substance abuse. Early due date for students seeking extra credit: July 13.

Rotary Life Leadership Training - RYLA is Rotary’s leadership training for young people emphasizing the development of leadership skills, citizenship, community service and personal growth and development. Candidate criteria: demonstrates leadership experience or potential, a cooperative nature and willingness to participate in a group, awareness of current events and international issue, strong communication skills, good performance in school or work, enthusiasm for sharing newfound skills with others and proven dedication to community service. The University of Notre Dame’s Summer Program is encouraging students to submit an entry to the Force for Good Film Festival for the chance to receive a scholarship to Dame’s Summer Scholars program. Created to inspire students to use their cell phones as creative tools, the film festival seeks submissions of short videos with positive messages.
