ONLINE HEALTH

The story of health or our general physical, mental and social well-being is about making wise choices throughout life. In order to make healthy decisions, students will learn about nutrition, disease prevention, mental health, first aid and substance abuse. Early due date for students seeking extra credit: July 14.

Summer health is held every summer. This course is capped at 40 and priority will be given to current West Catholic students needing to meet their Health requirement. Register at grwestcatholicprograms.org/online-health.cfmDeadline is May 26, 2023.

Notre Dame Summer 2024 Pre-College Program in summer 2024! 

Summer Scholars or Leadership Seminars allow students to live on Notre Dame’s beautiful campus for two weeks. They’ll stay in a residence hall with a roommate, take a challenging college-level course, and participate in fun community-building activities in the evenings. All of this, plus students earn transferrable college credit from Notre Dame! 

Need-based financial aid, including application fee waivers, partial to full-tuition scholarships, and travel reimbursement, is available to students who qualify.

Ave Maria Summer Leadership Program:  Experience Ave Maria University at the third annual Summer Leadership Program, June 22-28, 2024!  Rising high school juniors and seniors who are academically driven and committed to growing in their faith are invited to explore what life is like at Ave Maria University.

Looking for an awesome summer experience? At Summer Youth Programs (SYP), you can explore your interests and experience college life at Michigan Tech. SYP is kind of like summer camp, but smarter.

You’ll be hands-on in the lab and out in the field designing, experimenting, and discovering with students from around the world. Each program is one week long and held on the campus of Michigan Tech between June 16 and July 26, 2024. Private charter bus transportation is available from Novi, Lansing, Bay City, and Gaylord!

Over 50 programs are available, including:

Juniors are invited to apply to AIM

AIM is an intense, hands-on, six-day immersion that challenges, tests, and inspires.  Participants develop teamwork and leadership skills, complete technical design projects, and an 8-hour college preparation workshop. Every year I hear from AIM graduates who describe their experience at AIM as the most challenging, rewarding, and realistic of its kind.  For many students, AIM is life changing.
