West Catholic Skier Competes at State
West Catholic senior, Steven Kelly, competed at the MHSAA State Skiing Finals on February 22 at Nub’s Nob in Harbor Springs. By finishing in 9th place at the Regional Tournament, Kelly became one of only nine Grand Rapids-area skiers to qualify to compete at the Division 2 State Finals. More...

WC Band Students Have Success at MSBOA
On Saturday, February 6, West Catholic Band members competed in the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association (MSBOA) District Solo and Ensemble Festival. Students received nineteen First Division “Excellent” medals and eight Second Division “Good” medals. Catholic Central Students Named Gerald R. Ford Museum Essay Contest Finalists
CC freshmen, Sara DenBraber and Caroline Poole, and CC sophomores, Lindsay Gutting and Will Barkeley, have been named finalists in this year’s President Gerald R. Ford Student Essay Challenge. They are four of only eighteen finalists chosen from hundreds of essays submitted from high school students from throughout West Michigan, and will be recognized at a ceremony at the museum on February 15th.
