Orientation Schedule – Tuesday, August 21

Orientation Day is Tuesday, August 21. Please see the schedule for each grade below:

Tuesday, August 21, 2018

All students will report to the gym at their designated time (listed below). Students must be in uniform, including boys being clean shaven with their hair cut above the eyebrows, ears, and shirt collar and girls’ skirts need to be no shorter than two inches above the top of the knee. If purchasing school photos, remember to bring the picture order form which you will receive in the mail from Geskus photo.  If you did not receive an order form in the mail, you may pick one up in the Main Office. From the gym, students will be sent to their homerooms for their student planners, schedules, locker assignments, etc. The homerooms will be called to the library one at a time for pictures.  After pictures, 10th, 11th and 12th grade students are free to leave or can come to the office to purchase a parking pass (form included in this mailing).

8:00 am – Seniors – In addition to their planners, etc., seniors will also need to pick up their Entertainment Book.

9:00 am – Juniors

10:00 am – Sophomores

11:30 am – Freshmen – We will not be providing lunch for students – please be sure to eat before you arrive! After instruction from Administration in the gym, students and teachers will be released to homerooms. The student planners, schedules, etc. will be in your homeroom. Homerooms will be called down to the library for pictures. After pictures, the freshmen will report back to their homeroom and wait for a bell at 12:18. They will then be sent to their first hour class and will use the schedule below for a walk through of their schedule.

12:21 – 12:24      1st hour
12:27 – 12:30      2nd hour
12:33 – 12:36      3rd hour
12:39 – 12:42      4th hour
12:45 – 12:48      5th hour
12:51 – 12:54      6th hour
12:57 – 1:00         7th hour
1:00 – 1:10           Students will return to their homeroom

The Mousetrap Play and Mary Poppins Musical – Audition and Rehearsal Dates!

AuditionsTuesday, September 4 and Wednesday, September 5 from 5-7 p.m. They only need to attend for one day but plan on being there the whole time.
Mandatory Cast MeetingThursday, September 6 at 5 p.m. Will only last an hour – we will do scheduling at this meeting.
Rehearsals begin on September 17.

MARY POPPINS
AuditionsMonday, December 17 and Tuesday, December 18 from 5-7 p.m. They will need to be prepared to sing 16 bars of a musical theatre song. They will be doing some scene work and dance as well.
Mandatory Cast MeetingWednesday, December 19 at 5 p.m. Will only last an hour – we will do scheduling at this meeting.
Rehearsals begin January 28. We will have dance rehearsals PRIOR to this.

Detention Information

If you receive a detention, you must serve it at the next scheduled detention time. Detention is held on:

  • Tuesday,  7:15 am
  • Wednesday, 3:10 pm
  • Friday, 3:10 pm

Detention is held in Room #125 – Mr. MacGready.  Example; if you receive a detention on Monday, you must serve it on Tuesday morning unless you have a zero hour class, then you would serve it on Wednesday. You may not skip a zero hour class to serve detention. If you receive a detention on Friday, you may serve it Friday afternoon, or you must serve it on Tuesday. If you have any questions, please stop by the office or see page 10 in your student planner.
