MLA Citation

MLA Citation Style is used at West Catholic and it is important for a number of reasons:

• Citing your sources gives credit where credit is due.
• Proper citation makes your arguments more credible.
• It shows that you have properly researched your topic.
• Citation creates a foundation to which others can build from to make even greater breakthroughs.
• Readers can find other sources and original works for themselves.

Note:  Students should always verify the formatting for any MLA Citation which is created by a citation generator.  (Sometimes additional modifications / corrections will need to be made)
