As a product of the Catholic schools in Grand Rapids, it was wonderful to return to my roots when I arrived at West Catholic in the summer of 2001. I have been blessed throughout my career to work with some amazing students, teachers and parents as a teacher, coach and administrator. At West Catholic, it is a rewarding experience to work with the very best. The students, parents and everyone who support West Catholic create a unique and welcoming atmosphere throughout our community. Our shared commitment to strong academics continues to grow on the foundation of educating our students in the Catholic tradition.

In May of 1996, I walked across the stage as a proud graduate of West Catholic High School ready to start the next chapter of my life. Two or three chapters later, I am now in charge of reading the names of the approximately 160 proud graduates of West Catholic as one of my duties as the Assistant Principal. It has been a great experience to return home to work with many of the staff that were influential during my high school years and I strive to have the same positive impact in the lives of the current students as I received as a student all those years ago.
