ADMISSIONS > MINORITY SCHOLARS PROGRAM
For the fifth year in a row, the Catholic Secondary Schools will offer scholarship funding through the Minority Scholars program to twenty (20) minority students. The Catholic Secondary Schools will award ten (10) scholarships to freshman students entering Catholic Central High School and ten (10) scholarships to freshman students entering West Catholic High School. The focus of the scholarship program is directed toward qualified African-American and Hispanic/Latino students.
To qualify for the scholarship, candidates must have an outstanding eighth grade G.P.A., a passing score on the high schools’ placement exam, letter of recommendation, as well as a completed application form and essay. Candidates must also complete the PSAS tuition form which is used by all students requesting financial assistance to Catholic Central and West Catholic. The application deadline for the scholarship is TBD.
